The car is partialy painted!! Got to see the final colors today now that the trunk has been cleared and buffed. I'm really happy with the result. The white is not too bright and the red is a very close match to the carpet and pegasus decals that will be going on the car. The main body will probably be painted tomorow. I can't wait to get it home and start putting back together.

Great colour choice! I'm going with the Porsche 356 light ivory and red darts with gold stripes to match the red interior. It's nice to see what another white one will look like.
I have a question about the cable shifter, is it going into the engine compartment via the passengers side?
The one I got looks like the bend should come from the drivers side.

Thanks, I have not mounted my shifter yet so I'm not sure how that's going to go. I need to see some pictures of other peoples cars to figure it out. I thought about Light Ivory also but the samples I saw were too yellow to my eye. The red I used is Ford Lighting red.
Mike, I really like your paint. Could you give me the white paint code, I am painting my Spyder in February. I live on the east coast, so I bet our cars will never run into each other!
